1. What we collect

• What you give us when you register: your name, email address and phone number, and your language preference.
• Your reservations: which events you booked, your reservation code, and whether you were checked in at the door.
• Invitations sent to your email address for invitation-only events.
• A notification token for each device you sign in on, so we can send you messages about your events.
• Basic technical data your device sends when the app connects, including diagnostic reports if the app crashes.

2. Why we use it

• To hold your seat, issue your pass and admit you at the entrance.
• To email you your pass, reminders, and changes to events you booked.
• To send app notifications about your events, while you leave them on.
• To plan capacity and understand attendance at our events.
• To keep the service secure and prevent fraudulent or duplicated entry.

3. Legal basis

We process your data to perform our agreement with you when you reserve a seat, on the basis of your consent for notifications, and for our legitimate interest in running safe, well-organised events.

4. Who else sees it

• Google Firebase, which hosts the app's database, sign-in and notifications on our behalf.
• SendGrid, which delivers our emails.
• Event staff and ushers, who see the name and reservation of guests they check in.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

5. Where it is stored

Our providers operate data centres outside Egypt, so your data may be processed abroad under those providers' safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

• Reservation and attendance records are kept as the organiser's record of its events.
• If you delete your account, your sign-in is removed and you can no longer use the app with it, while those event records are kept.
• Ask us at info@narrativesummit.com if you want your personal details removed from those records, and we will tell you what we can do.

7. Your choices

• Turn notifications off at any time under Profile, Preferences.
• Correct your name or phone number under Profile, Edit profile.
• Delete your account under Profile.
• Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or erase it, by writing to info@narrativesummit.com.

8. Security

Access to your data is restricted to the people who need it, sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication, and passes are signed so they cannot be forged. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

9. Children

The app is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly create accounts for them.

10. Changes

We may update this notice. The current version always appears here, with the date it was last changed.
